Livingston no longer has its own newspaper service. there used to be a paper called the "Livingston Post" which was stopped in the early 1990's.
Livingston now gets local papers for the county which it is situated. the county is West Lothian and Livingston is served by 2 main newspapers
The West Lothian Herald & Post is the main local paper for West Lothian. It is delivered to around 95 % of the West Lothian Area and is completely free. It is run by The Scotsman who also run the Evening News and Scotsman papers.
The West Lothian Courier is the local paper but it is not free, it is a broadsheet style paper as opposed to the tabloid style Herald & Post.
